Tucked away in the corner of the fabulous Magic Roundabout, The Bassano Bar offers an elegant and intimate space to enjoy coffee and cocktails, whilst watching the world go by in the station below.
The Magic Roundabout, acclaimed as ‘The Best Outdoor Space in Shoreditch’, has quickly become one of East London’s best loved venues, known for its quirky and original décor, excellent street food and unique music events. Now heated and enclosed for the British winter, the space has been the subject of a major redesign, with The Bassano Bar enjoying a new lease of life as a Dickensian hunting lodge.
But, the real stars of the Bassano Bar are the drinks. These combine the best from Nardini – Italy’s oldest distillery – alongside niche products like Vermouth dal Professore, Cocchi and Vecchio Romagna. House pours include Chairman’s Reserve rums, No9 Vodka and gins from one of England’s most acclaimed new distillers, Bow’s East London Liquor Company. The Bassano Bar is London’s first point of call for the stunning ‘Mezzoemezzo’ an Americano-style drink from the Veneto region that’s winning new fans across Italy. The Mezzoemezzo is also the key ingredient in the bar’s best-selling ‘Steam Punk Negroni’.
