From the boys behind MacIntyre Coffee on Hoxton Street comes an exciting new venture located atop Old Street Underground station as part of the Magic Roundabout alongside Prawnography and Burger Bear.
Relax it’s Only Coffee is an all day beverage venue open from 7:30am through to 11pm featuring hand-crafted specialty coffee roasted by Modern Standard, nitro cold brew by Sandows, cocktails designed by the award-winning White Lyan on Hoxton St featuring premium spirits by 86 Co, house-made sodas, and specially selected beers and wines.
Relax it’s Only Coffee takes the “customer first” focus from MacIntyre Coffee forward with a unique “aeroplane wing” bar designed and built in-house to showcase the revolutionary Modbar espresso machine; a machine that takes away the classic bulk and hides it under the counter, breaking the traditional physical barrier between customer and barista while at the same time enhancing the “theatre” of a coffee being made. Relax is excited to be the first cafe in the UK to feature this machine.
Expect a creative focus on combining the worlds of coffee and cocktails together with unique signature drink offerings such as “espresso & handmade tonic,” “nitro cold brew;” a chilled coffee charged with nitrogen to give it a creamy mouthfeel and a guiness-like appearance, and cocktails referencing pop-culture such as “Damn Fine Fizz” with gin, coffee, pine, cherry pie; the “Orange Mocha Frappucinno” with vodka, nitro cold brew, cacao nibs and orange; and the “Cornholio,” a tasty summery take on an Old Fashioned with white rum, falernum, bitters, and tannins.
